The full English breakfast was spot on, and the staff were absolute legends, helping out with takeaways for our cycling adventure. Windy Harbour is a gem after a long day on the trail!
Rooms could use a bit of TLC. the mattress and shower pressure were a tad disappointing. A little less cupboard space would make the room feel a lot more spacious.

Staying here with my kids and our dog was fantastic. The beautiful gardens and friendly staff welcomed us in, and we loved exploring the local area like the Pennine Way. Dinner was delightful, featuring flavorful, homemade dishes that we all enjoyed together.
In my wife's opinion, a bit more family-friendly information at check-in would be helpful.

Enjoyed cozy evenings while admiring the stunning views from my clean room. The homemade sticky toffee pudding for dessert was a definite highlight.
The room felt cramped, making it difficult to move around or open luggage comfortably. Shower space was quite tight, impacting convenience, and the furnishings showed signs of wear, which could affect overall enjoyment. A lack of water pressure meant the showers were less than invigorating. Wi-Fi in the room struggled to keep up, making it difficult to stay connected. the variety of the beer selection left a bit to be desired, which could be a bummer for ale enthusiasts.

this place is a hidden gem! we were cycling the trans pennine trail, and it was just perfect for us. the breakfast was super nice with full english and eggs royale. the staff were really friendly and even helped us with takeaways! and no need to worry about our bikes, they were safe in the locked bar area!
the room was kinda small and we didn't have any evening meals available the night we arrived. also, it was a bit noisy with neighbors talking on the landing.

Lee was fantastic, picking us up right after a long walk and serving us some lovely poached eggs the next morning. The cozy seating area was perfect for unwinding after a long day, and the outdoor space was a nice touch too. The room was a bit on the small side, but it didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment. 😊

A fantastic spot for cyclists, with secure bike storage and excellent breakfast options, including a scrumptious full English. The owner was incredibly accommodating, promptly picking us up from the trail and ensuring we were comfortable throughout our stay. The room was spacious and clean, featuring beautiful views. The dining experience was a delight, although takeaway was needed one night due to the lack of evening meals. The surrounding area awaits exploration during daylight, showcasing the stunning countryside.
